Business Development Manager - Environmental
Highly motivated, results-orientated with excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills Business Development Manager is required for a global instrumentation and measurement solutions company. The post holder will assume overall responsibility for developing business strategies and winning new contracts for the environmental business unit to achieve business objectives and actively promote the company brand and profile. The purpose of the unit is to provide monitoring and conformity assessment solutions to a wide range of businesses, and service the environmental monitoring community in the specific areas of emissions monitoring and gas*air quality analysis and later to include water quality.
3-5 years experience in working in the environmental consultancy sector, qualification in a technical subject ideally related to environmental technology and*or compliance. Knowledge of the regulatory landscape including IPPC (or other environmental permitting experience) EIA, air*water quality and environmental auditing. Understanding of MCERTS scheme would be advantageous.
Competitive salary including car allowance. Private medical insurance, company pension scheme, 23 days holiday rising to a maximum of 28. Relocation assistance will be offered where appropriate.
