SAP Bid Manager* Bid Executive - Salary Negotiable - London
Experience SAP Bid Manager * Bid Executive required for our client`s new business unit. You will be responsible for ensuring that procurement & tender processes are managed both efficiently and professionally. As a key person in responding to client request, you will work across all divisions within our client`s organisation and be involved in the preliminary stages of all bid processes. You will bed expected to use a significant degree of evaluative judgment and constructive thinking to determine and implement the win strategy for a bid, ensure profitable business and efficiently use available resources. Previous experience of successfully working within a bid team is preferred but not essential. You will need sound commercial & contractual understanding, ideally gained within the software industry.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting in the compilation and submission of accurate tender documentation & sales proposals based on customers and prospects requirements
Effectively respond to queries throughout the entire sales process.
Establishing company-wide bids processes and procedures
Developing quality control processes to ?raise the bar? for proposals
Co-ordinate teams from across the business, including partners and marketing*business development to ensure optimal proposal content
Edit and draft pre-qualification questionnaires* expressions of interest* proposals
Manage the compliance elements of proposals
Identify any contractual issues
Measure and analyse the effectiveness of proposals
Knowledge management including setting up re-usable templates for bids
Advantageous Experience and Qualities to highlight in your cv: At least 2 years experience in marketing or selling complex, value-added IT solutions. Familiar with procurement methods & tender procedures; as well as assessing and advising on the management of contractual risks.
You should be able to work effectively and influence at all levels across the client, internal * external partners and multiple stakeholders and be flexible regarding time and location of operation during bid activity.
