The announcement text: Are you looking for your next challenging role? Our client, a top 250 FTSE Company has an exciting opportunity for a Clerk.

The role is like no other, as a Clerk you will be responsible for:

Supporting the senior clerk and branch management by implementing branch systems and customer service activities in accordance with company policy and to agreed standards of performance.

Key Tasks:

1. To implement issues entry activity and collections input.
2. To produce agent’s weekly summary and commission statements.
3. To provide effective support to the Agents.
4. To undertake office based issues*collections, IPI and other customer service activities.
5. To implement cheque and cash handling procedures.
6. To implement transfer activities and produce reconciliation reports.
7. To undertake branch audits, generate customer audit activity, audit exception and summary reports.
8. To implement sales ordering procedures, purchase ordering and stock taking activities.

The successful candidate will need to have excellent administration, planning & organization skills. Have the ability to communicate with staff at all levels and problem solve. Be a good team player as well as working under own initiative. The post-holder must have good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office environment, including, Excel and Word.
