An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT operator to join a well established blue chip company, who deal in bespoke trading, clearing and settlement software to many financial organisations to many locations globally. Your role will be to manage the day to day running of their systems in a 24x7 operations environment , from ensuring availability through to executing batch process’s and performing system backups, as well as monitoring all the systems and performing interim checks to ensure stability to the end user.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years commercial experience within operations and be proficient in all responsibilities including being responsible for the Junior Operators. Ideally candidates would have a good knowledge of Unisys Clearpath but this is not essential. You must be however at a level of technical competence whereby you will be required to run the shift in the absence of the Senior Operator, in a supervised environment. Salary is negotiable.
