Key responsibilities and accountabilities
In conjunction with all Directorates, provide an annual Company training plan for operational training
To help ensure plant and process based staff are suitable qualified and experienced
To identify and resolve inefficiencies across site, created by multiple standards and approaches
To ensure that plant training is carried out in line with the training cycle and takes account of learning styles
To ensure that all plant training is recorded and captured on LSMS and to utilise LSMS to provide reportage on activity in line with plans
To ensure that all plant training is evaluated
To monitor and report on the financial investment in vocational*plant training
To assess the ongoing suitability and opportunity for computer based training
To assist managers in ensuring that all plant employees understand what training is relevant to them and how to access it
To promote vocational accreditation where appropriate
Qualifications Required
Vocational training qualifications an advantage
Full knowledge of training cycle
Knowledge of career and development pathways for operations personnel an advantage
