The announcement text: Our Client is looking to recruit a Commercial HR Partner for its Shared Service Centre in West Yorkshire. This role is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced HR professional, reporting to the board.

Salary £50-65000 with an exceptional benefits package

The Role

This is a role for an intelligent HR professional with a wealth of practical personnel experience. People management and regular contact with senior management are fundamental aspects of this position, offering you a superb opportunity to build a career and to make a real impact within this leading brand, renowned for its quality products.

As HR Manager, you will be joining at this exciting time of change and you will play a crucial part in successfully delivering change through influence, development and mentoring and the implementation of a robust organisational structure.
Key activities will include;

Influencing key Divisional decisions and implementing robust HR processes
? Championing the development of the division, through continuous improvement, learning and employee engagement initiatives.
? Coach and support managers, communicating change and continuous improvement
? Focus on performance management, with the development of capability becoming the norm, in order that individuals maximise their potential in their current and future roles.


Candidate Profile

? Rounded HR professional with 5-7 years experience at HR Business Partner level, ideally including 2-3 years within a corporate function role
? Preferably experience of a manufacturing operation. (Ideally in a highly responsive environment - fmcg* food)
? CIPD qualified.
? Will seek to coach and develop HR team.
? Must have strong organisational design and development background with proven experience of influencing and implementing successful business unit structures & models.
? Commercial outlook, with a strong sense of HR as an enabler for business improvement. Will seek to be a proactive member of senior team.
? Engaging influencing skills, with the ability to coach and facilitate change, at the individual, team and organisational level.
? Can draw on experience to develop a ?winning? attitude and a high performance culture, aligned to the corporate capability agenda.
? Ideally ?large company experience?, with an astute appreciation of the context of matrix management and working within a corporate agenda.
? Experience with HR tools such as Competency frameworks, psychometrics, assessment centre methodology is highly desirable.
? Working knowledge of employment law, which is applied in a practical way.
? Not dogmatic.
? Can conceptualise and develop logical thought processes that work when applied practically.
