Work as part of a global R&D organisation to develop opto-electronic products in line with recently introduced new product introduction process and to tight product cost constraints.
Develop design, procurement and test specifications.
Carry out data analysis, product characterisation and test support.
Perform product verification and qualification to ensure devices meet reliability and performance requirements.
Support the manufacturing team during the transition to volume manufacture.
Minimum Requirements:
Qualifications: Degree in physics, electrical engineering, or closely related field.
Knowledge*Skills: Knowledge of laser diodes, fibre optical packaging and performance and reliability test methodology would be an advantage.
Experience: 2-5 years in the development of optical products or related technology.
