• To respond to personal and telephone callers, answering their enquiries and*or referring them to other departments*colleagues as appropriate
• To respond to email, written and fax enquiries, providing appropriate responses in accordance with policy and procedures
• To provide a reception service for visitors when required
• To provide administrative and clerical support to the Head of Contact Centre, setting up and maintaining databases and providing statistical information in support of the management of the service
• To provide support to other team, departmental and directorate projects as required
• To ensure that Contact Centre services are truly accessible and to identify ways of providing the service that meet customers` needs as fully as possible
