My client is looking for a IT infrastructure project engineer to be responsible for planning, developing, implementing and overseeing the installation of all physical systems that support Information Technology infrastructures at our clients new International Large Scale at their Manufacturing Site in Denmark. Plan, coordinate and oversee the work of staff and contractors performing IT related facilities installations.Develop and oversee the implementation of physical security policies and procedures and collaborate with other departments to communicate, ensure and enforce physical security at all time for IT facilities (i.e. server rooms and wiring closets)Plan, coordinate and supervise employees, vendors and contractors performing facilities installations (i.e. HVAC, wiring, fire suppression equipment) and ensure work conforms to defined BIIB standards and*or industry best practices for IT related construction projects.Act as the IT liaison for proper electrical and HVAC requirements for all telecommunications closets.Ensure data* telecommunication rooms meets design and operation criteria. Minimum 8 years experience supporting LAN* MAN* WAN IT facilities.Experience with IT related new construction projects and retro-fit site development including direction of networking subcontractors. Understanding of EIA* TIA certification standards.Experience implementing IT facilities best practices, including HVAC, Fire Suppression IT electrical* UPS best practises.
