Foreign oil & gas company is looking for Drilling Engineer
Requirements:
• 3 years Drilling Engineering experience holding either an engineering or science degree. Experience with well designing, including casing, cementing, BHA & directional design, drilling fluid specification, bit selection and some field supervision experience would be an asset.
• Good computer skills including, Outlook, MS Excel and MS Word.
• Good personal awareness and communications ability including written and presentation skills.
• Working knowledge of Safety Management Systems and Petroleum Legislation.
• Able to work as part of a small operations and planning team.
• Ukrainian / Russian and English speaking, and writing, skills preferred.
Responsibilities:
• Reporting to the Head of the Drilling and Work Over Dept.
• Timely prepare conceptual and detailed fit-for-purpose well designs: this includes planning, equipment specifications, cost estimation for budgets.
• Preparation of work over plans.
• AFE preparation and front-end cost management (service contracts or equipment purchases), in accordance with Company policies.
• Setting up, and maintaining well files.
• Working in the field from time to time to oversee operations.
